AssembliesAll school assemblies link to an instructional objective to expose our students to a variety of ways to learn the content standards.
The three assemblies we have each year include: Brainstormers assembly Kick Off (fall) and Skywriters (spring) and Gemini "Holidays Around the World". |
Field TripsWe know that learning can happen in a variety of setting outside of the school and strive to give our students the chance to experience learning outside of the school walls.
Trips include: Detroit Zoo, DYPAC Play performance, Ford Rouge Plant, Trenton Public Library, Ford Field tour, Comerica Park tour, City of Trenton tour, Apple Orchard trip, Henry Ford Greenfield Village, Law day, AMS Orientation and more! |
Watch DOGsWe have adopted the nation wide Watch DOG (Dads of Great Students) program to enable our dads to get involved in the daily life of our school. Dads volunteer to come at least one day throughout the year and serve as mentors and participate in classrooms to experience and enhance the lives of our students and their child.
